Processing of FS Form 5444, for account authorization, currently takes about 8 weeks.

When a Form Won't Download


  • To ensure delivery of TreasuryDirect information to your e-mail account, please add "" to your address book. To see whether previous messages from us were blocked, check your e-mail account's Spam folder (also called a Junk or Bulk folder).
  • TreasuryDirect does not provide paper securities or paper account statements. To get a paper copy of your account information, use your browser's toolbar to print the pages you need.

*If your account number starts with a number rather than a letter, your account isn't in TreasuryDirect. Our older program Legacy Treasury Direct uses account numbers in the format 1200-345-6789.
