If you are wondering why you were contacted or if the e-mail is legitimate, here is more information:

  • It’s important to ensure that your TreasuryDirect account information is up to date, especially your contact information.
  • Account information is accessible on the Account Info tab after you log into TreasuryDirect.
  • If you encounter issues while updating your account information, please reach out to us Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET, at 844-284-2676 (toll-free).
  • If you received an e-mail from subscriptions@subscriptions.treas.gov about reviewing your account information, it is a valid e-mail (see e-mail below).

SUBJECT: TreasuryDirect: Validating Your Contact Info

Dear TreasuryDirect Customer,

Did you move in the last year? Change your phone number? If so, reflect these changes in your TreasuryDirect account. Keep your account secure and up to date by verifying your contact information. If you confirm that your information is correct, you do not need to take further action.

After logging into TreasuryDirect, navigate to the Account Info tab to review your information including e-mail, phone number, and address. If you need to update any of the information, click the Edit button at the bottom of the page, answer your security question, and then make any needed edits before selecting the Submit button to save your changes.

If you encounter any issues while updating your account, or you have forgotten the answers to your security questions, you can reach out to us Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET, at 844-284-2676 (toll-free).
